Chris 'Monty' Montgomery

Monty plays Alto Sax in the Band and is our Finance Manager. In his youth he played Violin & Cornet before moving to the dark side to play the sax, some 30 years ago. Since then he has played in a number of different ensembles including, South Devon Big Band, Totnes Jazz Workshop, WorleWind Concert Band as well as smaller Jazz-Blues groups for more intimate venues. His wife Ella thinks he has a penchant for uniforms as he played for a number of years with the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service Concert Band, before retiring & moving to Brixham 7 years ago after a lifetime of working in the Dairy Industry....................just don't ask him about the cost of Butter & Cream!
