On April 14th, our newly formed Clarinet Quintet performed for the Easter Ball at BRNC. This is an annual event for which BRNC pulls out all the stops, with magicians, music, dinner and dancing, along with a silent fireworks display. Colin, Janice, Mark, Bob and Rose provided some sophistication at the Gallery Entrance to the Senior Gunroom as the guests made their way in for dinner. The quintet performed for an hour and the guests enjoyed our music and many thanks to Colin for choosing some great repertoire. This now forms the basis for a great Woodwind Quintet which the band can provide for future smaller engagements at BRNC and other venues upon request.
