The Big Band performed to an enthralled audience at The Flavel Centre, Dartmouth on Friday 25th March 2022. The concert was a sell out fundraising event that celebrated the life of our former Musical Director and dear friend, Sid Davis. Sid's wife, Maggie travelled all the way from Scotland just to be with us and so it was fantastic to see her. Donations will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. The Band played a number of Sid's old favourites including Strike Up The Band, Anything Goes, and Feelin' Good. Our amazing solo vocalists wowed the audience with Lucy Hingston singing some great songs including My Baby Just Cares for Me and Blue Moon and Mike Jones finished the set with an outstanding rendition of Michael Buble's Cry Me A River. We loved it and our amazing audience loved it. Thank you to everyone who came along to listen to us, it was great to see you all. We hope to see you all again at the end of April at our Ukraine Crisis Relief concert performed by the BRNC Concert Band.
