The Concert Band played to a full Flavel Theatre, Dartmouth on Friday 9th Dec 2022.
British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis 29th April 2022
The Concert Band played on home turf to a full Flavel Theatre, Dartmouth audience who were thrilled to have 'their' band back on stage and to watch film footage of each movie theme on the big screen. This was the second of the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeals concerts and it was a huge success.
British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis 23rd April 2022
This was a debut performance by the Concert Band at the Palace Theatre, Paignton. The band played to a delighted audience and were thrilled to watch film footage of each movie theme on the big screen. The concert was in aid of the British Red Cross Appeal for the Crisis in Ukraine.
Flavel Big Band Concert 25th Mar 2022
A superb night was had by all at our Big Band 'sell out' Spring Concert. This was to celebrate the life of our dear friend and former Musical Director, Sid Davis. The Band played some Sid's favourite numbers including Strike Up The Band, Feelin' Good, Anything Goes and many more. The Flavel and the Band are pleased to donate funds from the ticket sales to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Flavel Christmas Concert 2021
This was a brilliant 'sell out' Christmas Concert enjoyed by our lovely Flavel audience! It was the first concert performed by the Band since the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic and we enjoyed it immensely. Our amazing audience paid tribute to us with a Standing Ovation!
